I was gonna get up but why bother? when my car refuses to hover and nobody will be going to work in gravity tubes and I’d go back to sleep but I think my imagination is on the blink and I’d dream of a world where food is served in cubes you promised we’d have phones in our watches by now and we’d all live in domes on the moon but instead we all tell the time on our phones and we won’t be moving into space any time soon because the future’s disappointing or is it just me? so I drive into work, singing along to a shiny disc, full of songs some of which were pulled straight out of the air because my computing machine is connected to a wireless stream giving me access to everything I want to hear the phone in my pocket is now a computer as well it's also a camera, that can play tunes and check my mail and in the rare event that I think of something funny to say informing the whole world is only a few clicks away so is the future disappointing or is it just me?

You vary as a function of time You wake up in the morning and you always feel fine But in the evening when the sun sets you begin to lose your mind You vary as a function of time Your mood sets a sinusoidal path At lunchtime all I have to do is smile to see you laugh but as your temper worsens I depict it on a graph and your mood takes a sinusoidal path There's a formula for your personality y = (7n + 4) / 16t Where t's the time and n is your proximity to me There's a formula for your personality

You say that you love maths, well I predicted it when you tried to join the dots and drew a line of best fit you think in hexadecimal, which starts to explain why you put two and two together and got pi. I've tried to use a compass to draw rings around your heart but you expressed the probability on a series of charts if I understand correctly, what you're trying to say is "no way, no way, no way". Don't need to be good looking, don't need to be brave just need a calculator to ride this sine wave "rearrange your heart into the formula above" y = n... to the power of love I surround myself with textbooks in an attempt to appeal because I am so integer, you must know how I feel and if you show even a fraction of the feelings I display an array of sunshine will light up my day you say you'll never be the relationship kind but with calculus and algebra I hope to change your mind and as I wait counting prime numbers, the initial seeds are sowed with love notes written in binary code don't need to be good looking, don't need to be brave just need a calculator to ride this sine wave "rearrange your heart into the formula above" y = n... to the power of love
